Overview

Sma Vreho̠ Gri was founded durring the late 15th century in winter of the year 1389, by Zleli. The establishment of Sma Vreho̠ Gri suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Sma Vreho̠ Gri which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Sma Vreho̠ Gri was built using the conventions of Wood Elf durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Sma Vreho̠ Gri is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Sma Vreho̠ Gri is buildings are speckled and packed arround narrow packed earth streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the city's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a city. The city rests behind a thin stone wall. The wall's design was likly directly copied from a castle's parmiter defences. It's simply that the arcatect made Sma Vreho̠ Gri's wall substancialy thinner than a castle's walls. While the towers and gatehouses are adiquite, the obvious cost savings measure of making the walls drasticaly thinner reduces their ability to resist siege weapons greatly. The city's impressive-looking wall could fail at a critical moment in battle, and would likely not even resist a few bandits with improvised siege equipment. Sma Vreho̠ Gri's budget oriented are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the city as needed.

A look around Sma Vreho̠ Gri has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine with the simple fact that it is abundantly clear Sma Vreho̠ Gri suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had. Everyone quietly goes about their daily business not looking anyone in the eye. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Sma Vreho̠ Gri long.

History

A local has came up with a wonderful new idea 1 months ago; it may be a magical innovation, a new industrial process, a new agricultural product, a new use for what was thought to be ancient garbage, or some other very useful, profitable idea. Everyone around them is fighting for the chance to exploit this clever new plan.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Sma Vreho̠ Gri was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Sma Vreho̠ Gri lost 235 people, 292 livestock, and 47 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 140, when members of Sma Vreho̠ Gri's militia enacted an operation to deliver supplies to a specific strategic location. The operation was complicated by the enemy setting up an ambush. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in victory for Sma Vreho̠ Gri's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Sma Vreho̠ Gri's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
